Nomenclature


On this page you can Add or Edit New Items, Composite Item, BOM Items. The screen is divided in four main sections: Header (1), Tabs (2), Filter (3) and Results (4).


Within the Header (1) section you have several buttons.

If you are in the Items/Materials tab, you will see these buttons – Add New Item, Add New BOM Item. With these buttons you can add New Item, New Composite Item or New BOM Item.

If you are in the Service tab, you will see this button – Speedy ID. With it you can Add New Service.

If you are in the Other tab, you will see these buttons – Transaction, System Item. With these buttons you can Add New Transaction or New System Item.

On the right corner of the Header (1) section on all tabs you can see four blue buttons – Show Archived, Download Template, Export to XLS document, Indexing.

Depending on which of the Tabs (2) you choose, you will see a different Result (4) section.

Within the Items/Materials tab, the system will show you the most used columns in the Result (4) section – ID, Name, Brand, which are described in the table below.

Column Meaning
ID Shows the ID of the item
Name Shows the Name of the item
Brand Shows the Brand of the item


If you want to add more information about your Items, there are check boxes that allow you to add more columns to the list of results:

Column Meaning
Supplier SKU Shows the Supplier SKU, Supplier Name and Supplier
Description Shows the Description of each particular item (if any)
Group Shows the Group for each particular item
Type Shows the Type of the item – Item, Material, Product, BOM
Tracking Method Shows the Tracking Method for each particular item – Serial # or Batch
Expiry Date Shows the Expiry Date (if any)
Units of Measurement Shows the unit of measurement for each particular item
Status Shows the status for each particular item – work

Plus a few additional buttons:

Replacement Items Allows you to create analogues and related items
Change Status Allows you to change the status of the item


Within the Services tab, the system will show you only the most used columns in the Result (4) section – ID, Name, which are described in the table below:
