Purchases Report

On the Purchases Report screen you can find summarized information for your Purchases. The screen is divided into several sections: Header (1), Filter (2), Chart (3), Results (4) and Allocation (5).

Within the Header (1) section you can find buttons that show and hide the Chart, Allocation and Filter sections.

When the Filter (2) section is shown, you can use it to filter Purchases on specific criteria. The available options are summarized in the following table:

Option Meaning
Date range (From, To) Allows you to filter your results based on the time the purchase happened
Results/Tabs Allows you to customize your Results section. You may have different tabs for the different results
Group by Allows you to choose based on what you would like to group yours purchases
Company Allows you to filter based on the Company that made the purchase
Office Allows you to choose the office where the purchases were made
Trader Allows you to filter based on the person who made the order
Supplier types Allows you to filter based on supplier type – like manufacturer, printing house, etc
Suppliers Allows you to filter based on a specific supplier
Holding Allows you to filter based on holding
Item Type Allows you to filter based on the item type – like goods, material, product or services
Item set Allows you to filter based on the item set
Groups Allows you to filter based on groups (if already defined in the system)
Brand Allows you to filter based on brand
Search Custom search for something specific

When the Chart (3) section is shown, it provides visual representation of the purchases in the form of a graph. You have a radio button option that allows you to select if you would like the chart to show the values on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. You need to reapply the filter with the button if you would like to change from one type of visualization (like per month) to another type (like per week). You also have additional check box that allows you to Show accumulated values.

The Results (4) section shows you the purchases that happened based on the Filter criteria. By default the system will show the following columns:

Name Name of the item
Brand Brand of the item
UM Unit of measurement
Quantity Quantity of the item
Amount Amount of the item
% Percent of Purchases

plus additional button that allows you to filter for the specific item.

If you would like to get more information about your purchases, you have additional check boxes that could add more columns to the table. They are summarized in the following table:

Detailed Detailed information for the item
Price inc-tax The price with tax included
Number of transactions and lines Total number of transactions and lines with this item
Completed quantity Quantity that has been completed
Quantity Invoiced Quantity that has been invoiced
Expenses and Profit Expenses and Profit from this item’s purchases
Invoiced and Paid Quantity that has been invoiced and paid

Additional columns may be shown based on the Filter (2) selections.

When the Allocation (5) section is shown, it will present a pie chart visualization of your purchases per amount of quantity. Hover your mouse over the different pieces of the pie to get more information.
