Add/Edit on Row

With the Add/Edit on Row screen you can add or edit rows to an order. The screen is divided into several sections: Header (1), Price/Quantity (2), Amount (3), Items in BOM (4), Description (5) and Availability (6).

Within the Header (1) of the page you will find information about the item you are adding or editing: ID, Item, Brand, Group and Description. It is informational only – you cannot make changes there, numbers are different for every Item. In the Price/Quantity section you see:

OptionMeaning
QuantityHow many we are adding to the order
Unit of MeasurementThe unit of measurement the client has purchased
Warehouse quantityHow many we have in the warehouse calculated in warehouse measurement units
Warehouse measurement unitThe unit of measurement used in the warehouse for this item
Price ex-taxIndividual item price before taxes (for one item)
Price inc-taxIndividual item price after taxes (for one item)
Total ex-taxTotal amount for the item. If you are adding more than one of the item, then here you will find the total price before taxes for your number of items.

If the handover is Directly and the item has a Serial/Batch Number, the values within this section cannot be changed. If we want to change the Price/Quantity section, we have to pick a Deferred Handover in the sales order screen, the tabs for Price/Quantity will be available for editing, and we can manually pick the amounts and measurements of the item.

The next section – Amount (3), shows the amount and type of tax and the total amount with tax included.

In case you have permission to work with Discounts for this item and client, you may see an additional Discount tab to enter your discount.

In the next section, Items in BOM (4) – every position gives us an option to pick from similar products that are at the same price. We can find different varieties of the same item in any of the lines. Eventually we sell all the items together in a BOM.

There is also a Description (5) section you can edit.

At the right side of the window in the Availability (6) section you can check the availability of the item and you can see previous sales (if any):

TabMeaning
Availability POSAvailability in the warehouse of the selected POS. Shows when the delivery method is set to Directly
AvailabilityAvailability in all warehouses in the system you have permission to see. Always visible.
Previous salesSales made previously for the same client. If there are no previous sales, the tab won‘t be visible.

Under the Availability POS tab we have information for the item. Depending on the product, the tabs will be different. If the product has characteristics, they will be shown in additional columns. For example if the client is selling second hand domestic appliances, we can have a tab with Quantity, Size, Color, Previous repairs of the merchandise. The characteristics of the Item are located after the Batch column.
