You must fill in the fields:
- Code
- Name of characteristic
- Feature Type:
- Text – text field
- TextArea – large text box for longer text
- Number
- Date – date selection
- Checkbox – creates a characteristic of type “Yes”/”No”
- Nomenclature – nomenclature is probably the most commonly used element. Nomenclatures are a set of preset values – for example, colors, sizes, material type, etc. By selecting this item, you must also select the specific nomenclature you will use.
- Counterparty – allows you to select a counterparty (customer, supplier, etc.) to the item
- File – allows attaching a file to the item
- Picture – allows selection of a picture/picture to the item
- Selectable picture – system characteristic. Managed by implementers
- With package – system characteristic. Managed by implementers
Once you have selected a feature type you see three checkboxes:
- Mandatory to enter – the system will require you to fill in a value for the feature when editing an item
- Feature for variations
- Feature to a batch
- To be visible in the tables – (if the Characteristic to batch option is selected) – the characteristic is visible in the rows of stock by batch and stock operations
