Common problems

Attention! The system does not care about logical correctness of the data! If the data you import is in the correct format the corresponding records will be created.

No undo on already created records after import – check the data you import carefully. Be careful not to create a large volume of wrong entries that you then have to delete or correct one by one.

The automatic intelligent formatting of the contents of the excel sometimes causes unpleasant problems. Common cases to watch out for:

Fields with content similar to numbers are very often reformatted to a number. For example, a text field with phone numbers starting with “088” can be reformatted to “88” by dropping the starting “0”
Fields with date-like content are reformatted to date. For example “010203” can be reformatted to “01.02.2003”
Import does not work with formulas and references!
