Add country<\/h2>\n

\nYou can add a country from the CRM menu> Settings> Locations using the Country<\/span> button.<\/p>\n

First you are presented with a list of all countries, where you need to find the country you want to add.<\/p>\n

However, if you do not find a specific country here, please contact us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

By clicking on the desired country, you open its setup interface, which contains System Data Field(1)<\/strong>, Setup Field(2)<\/strong> and Address Management Field(3)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

System Data Fields(1)<\/h4>\n

Each Prim.IO client receives a list of all countries, with the name, 2-letter ISO-3166 code, 3-letter ISO-3166 code, 3-digit ISO-3166 code automatically filled in. However, if you do not find a specific country here, please contact us.<\/p>\n

Setup Fields(2)<\/h4>\n

In the box you need to provide a phone code, and at the bottom by inserting a check\/removing a check you indicate whether the country is on Intrastat. The latter is important for the proper functioning of finance in the system.<\/p>\n

Address Management Field(3)<\/h4>\n

The last thing you need to set up is what mode the state addresses will work in. There are two modes for entering counterparty addresses, and they are set at the counterparty type and subtype level-customers, suppliers, banks, government organizations, etc. The first mode is “Free” and in this mode you have the possibility to enter any text in each address field.<\/p>\n

The second mode is “Strict”. In strict mode, the areas, localities, neighbourhoods and streets are predefined and you have to select them from lists. Strict mode is handy when your business requires absolute accuracy and validity of addresses entered, as well as when integrating with freight forwarding companies that require strictly entered addresses. The strict mode of address entry also ensures the subsequent possibility of analysis based on customer location, because it excludes the possibility that the same street is written in several different ways.<\/p>\n

We recommend that you choose strict address input mode only when it is really necessary! Strict mode of operation requires much more effort to enter and maintain correct information.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Modes are set by placing a check mark in the appropriate field under the counterparty type:<\/p>\n

  • YES- all contractors of this type will work with a strict address<\/li>\n
  • NO- free address mode will be used<\/li>\n
  • Strict Address by Counterparty Type-displays the subtypes of the corresponding counterparty type and must select which of the subtypes will operate in strict address mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    To save your changes, you need to click the Confirm<\/span> button.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Country Editor<\/h2>\n

    \nClicking on the state you want to edit opens its setup interface with System Data Field(1), Setup Field(2) and Address Management Field(3). The interface is the same as the one above for adding a country, but opens loaded with the data of the country you have selected for editing.<\/p>\n

      Replacing a country<\/h2>\n

      Replacement is used to manage all kinds of settlements, with replacement uniting one settlement with another. Can be used in settlements that:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • are duplicated or entered multiple times<\/li>\n
      • have a misspelled name<\/li>\n
      • are redundant for some reason<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
