The system allows removal of these records via the &#8220;Backup&#8221; functionality.<\/p>\n<p>Backing up contractors in Prim.IO does not delete them, but hides them from the system lists. All data and documents with an archived contractor remain in the system and can be found in their file at any time.<\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9209\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%B6%D0%B8%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%85%D0%B8%D0%B2%D0%B8%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%B5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1914\" height=\"963\">  To find an archived contractor on the lists in the system, you need to put a check on &#8220;Show Archived&#8221;, which is located on the side of almost every Filter (1) on the interfaces. This will also display Archived Counterparties (3) in the List (2), which are highlighted with an exclamation point to distinguish them from active counterparties.<\/p>\n<h3>Backup of contractors<\/h3>\n<p>The counterparty backup procedure is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 1<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9223\" style=\"font-size: inherit;\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1918\" height=\"966\"><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> Find the contractor you want to backup from a list <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=158\">Clients<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">, <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=161\">Suppliers<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">, <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=164\">Banks<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">, <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=5611\">Holdings<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> or <\/span><a style=\"font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=167\">State organisations.<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> and enter the file of the desired counterparty.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 2<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9225\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B02.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1918\" height=\"968\">Click Edit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 3<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9227\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B03.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1545\" height=\"802\"> Click the Backup button.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 4<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9229\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B04.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1534\" height=\"578\">Confirm the counterparty backup. If you click on Close, the system will not perform any action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Activating an archived counterparty<\/h3>\n<p>The procedure for activating a backed up counterparty is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Step 1<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9239\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B01%D0%B0.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1917\" height=\"968\"><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\"> <\/span>You find the counterparty you want to archive from a list of <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=158\">Customers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=161\">Suppliers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=164\">Banks<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=5611\">Holdings<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.prim.io\/bg\/?page_id=167\">Government Organizations<\/a>, and you must put a checkmark on <strong>Show archived <\/strong>in the filter, otherwise you will not be able to find it. You access the archived contractor&#8217;s file.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 2<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9243\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B02%D0%B0.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1911\" height=\"941\"><\/strong>Click Edit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 3<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9245\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B03%D0%B0.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1559\" height=\"810\">Click Activate.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Step 4<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9247\" src=\"http:\/\/docs.prim.io\/content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/%D1%81%D1%82%D1%8A%D0%BF%D0%BA%D0%B04%D0%B0.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1548\" height=\"576\">Confirm counterparty activation. If you click on Close, the system will not perform any action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Special conditions for working with archived counterparties<\/h3>\n<p>If you have created a contractor with the EIC 123456789, it is archived, and you try to create a new contractor with the same EIC 123456789, the system will not allow you to save it.
